The 36 lessons of The Music Playground are easy to follow in a teacher's guide. There are sing-a-long CDs to use for every musical part of the curriculum, and no piano skills are required. Each lesson can be divided up if needed.

The Music Playground can be used and facilitated by current preschool staff. The teacher facilitates the activities in the teacher's guide by playing the songs, reading the rhyming stories, and implementing method book activities.

The Music Playground has combined the best of previous techniques for teaching note-reading, rhythm, singing, ear-training, and ensemble for the preschool setting.
